ISRO ICRB Eligibility Criteria-

Educational Qualification for Scientist ISRO ICRB-

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Electronics) –

Qualification- BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Mechanical) –

Qualification- BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Computer Science) –

Qualification- BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil) –

Qualification- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Civil Engineering [

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical) –

Qualification- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Electrical Engineering

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) –

Qualification- BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engg with Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives or as a core subject in any of the semesters, with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture) –

Qualification- Bachelor degree in Architecture with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale and Valid Registration Certificate with Council of Architecture.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Architecture & Planning

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil Engineering) – Autonomous Body [PRL] –

Qualification- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an aggregate minimum of Sixty Five Percentage marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

GATE Qualification – Valid GATE score in Civil  Engineering

Age Limit for Scientist posts in ISRO ICRB as on 17.08.2026-
