IIT Hyderabad Junior Technician- Central Workshop Exam Syllabus 2026
The syllabus for the preliminary written test, skill test and main written tests for the listed trades will
be based on the following-
General aptitude and applied mathematics; metrology; engineering, machine, and production drawing; GD&T
and tolerance analysis; surface measurement techniques; G and M code programming for CNC turning centers
and three-axis machining centers; work and tool offsets; threading, boring, grooving, and drilling cycles; jigs
and fixture design principles; tool and cutter compensation; tool wear analysis; and machining defect
troubleshooting.
