Pay Scale – Rs. 47,000/- per month.
Qualification – PhD in Physical/ Environmental/ Earth Sciences, Natural Resource Management/ Environmental Management / Geography/Climate Science/ RS and GIS or allied subject (After obtaining the degree of Ph.D/M.Tech., the SPF (Non-NET) selected shall be eligible for being appointed as Research Associate).
Age Limit – Between 18 to 35 years.
Name of the post – Senior Project Fellow
No. of vacancies – 01
Salary – Rs. 23,000/- per month
Qualification – 1st Class Master Degree in Geography/ Climate Science/ RS and GIS or allied subject with 02 years of experience in required areas Or 1st Class M.Tech Degree in RS and GIS with 02 years of experience in required areas.
Age Limit – Between 18 to 32 years.
Name of the post – Technology Associate

Salary – Rs. 40,000/- per month
Qualification –
1. Ist class M.Sc. / M.A. & Ph.D. (Life Sciences/Social Sciences/ Environmental Sciences) from a recognized University.
2. Five years experience of working in R&D projects related to training and capacity building on livelihood improvement, rural enterprise development, natural resource based income generating activities in Himalayan region evidenced through project technical reports/publications.
Age Limit – Between 18 to 45 years.
Name of the post – Master Trainer

Salary – 32,000/- per month.
Qualification – 1. Ist class Masters in Social Sciences / Environmental Sciences/ Professional Course on Social Work from a recognized University
2. Three years experience of demonstrating / training and capacity building of farmers, women, Govt. Line Deptts./NGOs etc. on cost-effective, R&D based environment-friendly rural technologies among rural communities preferably of Himalayan region.
Age Limit – Not more than 50 years.
Name of the post – Field Assistant
No. of vacancies – 01
Salary – Rs.12,000/- per month.
Qualification – 1. Intermediate Science with experience of 5 years on assistance in setting up of R&D demonstrations on livelihood improvement & rural development, organization of village level meetings, exhibitions and household surveys.
2. Six months experience of computer course, typing hindi/english.
Age Limit – Not more than 30 years.
Name of the post – Information Officer

Salary – Rs. 35,451/- per month.
Qualification – Graduate in science or equivalent; good knowledge of computers; one year working experience in relevant areas.
Age Limit – Not more than 35 years.
