RAC Ooty Recruitment Notification 2020 Details – RAC Ooty invites Online applications for recruitment of 13 Engineer Trainee (Electronics), Scientific Assistant-B (Computers), Tradesman-B (Electrical), Work Assistant (Laboratory), Work Assistant (Mechanical), Security Guard, Administrative Trainee Posts. This online facility will be available in the Official website http://www.ncra.tifr.res.in/ from 08.12.2020 to 31.12.2020. Name of the post – Engineer Trainee (Electronics)
No. of vacancies – 02
Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Rs. 25,000/- per month
Qualification – Full time BE/B.Tech. Degree in Electronics Engineering from a recognised Institute/university.
Name of the post – Scientific Assistant B (Computers)
No. of vacancies – 01
Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Level 6 Rs. 46,356/-
Qualification – (a) Full time B.Sc (Computer Science) or Diploma in Computer Engineering with aggregate 60% marks.
(b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years experience in a reputed organization.
Name of the post – Technical Trainee (Electrical)

Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Rs. 16,000/- per month
Qualification – Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Name of the post – Technical (Electronics)

Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Rs. 16,000/- per month
Qualification – 1) B.Sc. (Physics/Electronics). Diploma in Electronics (ECE) and Electrical (EEE). Nature of Training : Mainly doing observation with ORT. Telescope operation and receiving room maintenance. Computer operation.
Name of the post – Tradesman B (Electrical)

Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Level 3 Rs. 29,295/-
Qualification – NTC (Electrical) with aggregate of 60% marks awarded by NCVT OR NAC with aggregate of 60 marks awarded by NCVT. Candidates with “B” Electrical License Holder would be preferred.
Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years OR
(ii) NCVT with 1 year in a reputed organization. Nature of Job: Electrical installation and maintenance related works at RAC.
Name of the post – Work Assistant (Laboratory)

Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Level 1 Rs. 23,913/-
Qualification – (i) 10th or Equivalent OR (ii) NTC (Electronics) awarded by NCVT.
Minimum Experience: One year experience in electronics laboratory in a reputed organisation.
Name of the post – Work Assistant (Mechanical)
No. of vacancies – 01
Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Level 1 Rs. 23,913/-
Qualification – 10th or Equivalent OR (ii) NTC (any Mechanical) awarded by NCVT.
Minimum Experience: Two years experience in a medium/large sized industry/workshop.

Qualification – Minimum Qualifications: (i) 10th or Equivalent (Central/State Board Examination.
Minimum Experience: (i)Minimum Three years experience in Defence/CAPF/Securitywork in a reputed organisation. (ii) Firefighting Training, First Aid Certificate/NCC certificate/Civil Defence training/Home Guard (This clause is not applicable to candidates for Defence/CAPF) (iii) Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications.
Name of the post – Administrative Assistant

Pay Scale/ Stipend/ Salary – Rs. 15,000/- per month
Qualification – Graduate from a recognized university
Knowledge of typing & use of personal computers and applications.
Age Limit – Not more than 43 for Scientific Assistant & 28 years for other posts.
Age Relaxation – The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Selection Procedure – If the eligible number of applications is large, the Centre will restrict the number of candidates for written tests by making a merit list of the applicants based on the marks in the basic qualification, number of years of experience and select reasonable number of candidates for each post. Centre will conduct more than one written test, online test, skill test, for making a primarily merit list. This merit list is not a selection list. This merit list will be used to further shortlisting of the candidates for online interviews, wherever required. Top scorer from the final list will be considered for selection if the candidate is otherwise suitable
