Qualification – Candidates Should have Punjabi pass of matriculation or its equivalent level and Full Time regular ITI in Electrician/ Wireman Trade from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit – Between 18 to 37 years.

Application fee – SC / EWS: Rs.566/- + Bank Charges, PWD: Rs.708/- + Bank Charges, All Categories: Rs.1416/- + Bank Charges.
Selection Procedure for Assitant Lineman & Assistant Sub Station Attendant in PSTCL punjab –
1. Candidates, who fail to do so even if he/she has qualified the online test, shall not be considered and no relaxation shall be given in this regard.

2. Eligible candidates will have to undergo an online test.

3. The question paper for all posts shall consist of 100 No. objective type questions (eagh question carrying 01 mark), with a provision of negative marking for a wrong answer at 0.25 of the mark allotted for a correct answer, to be attempted online in a duration of 2 hours. The questions shall be related to the concerned subject relevant to the post, general knowledge/ awareness, as under for both posts

4. The merit shall be prepared based on the marks scored in the online test. If two or more candidates score same marks, then the candidate who has scored more marks in subject related questions will be placed at a higher rank in the merit list and if there is still a tie’ the candidate who is senior in age shall be kept at higher rank.

5. The candidates as per merit list shall be called for document checking for which the date shall be notified later on and document checkin schedule will be u loaded on PSTCL website.

6. No other mode Of communication regarding intimation of document checking schedule will be done by PSTCL.
