Okaya Electric Scooter Freedum New Launched in India

Okaya is also known as energy storage solutions provider company in India. Okaya already running a business in E Scooter through existing Avion IQ and Classic IQ series. The Okaya new electric scooter model Freedum will be available with lithium-ion and lead-acid battery options. Okaya is manufacturing the new electric scooter at its Baddi based manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh.

Okaya Freedum Price – Okaya has launched the Freedum electric scooter at a starting price of Rs. 69000/-. The new Freedum electric scooter will be available in four variants- starting with Low-Speed e-Scooters for select markets. Okaya will further launch high speed, high range e-scooters offering more than 250km per charge capacity in the coming months. The company has revealed that it will roll out a total of fourteen new products in the current financial year including a high-Speed Motorcycle and specialized B2B vehicles. The Freedum Electric Scooter is available in twelve colours.The new Freedum electric scooter is Okaya’s third product on the market ever since its formal launch in July 2021. Okaya currently has 120 dealers. The Okaya Freedum uses a 250 watt BLDC hub motor with a top speed of 25 kmph. There will be a high-speed variant as well that promise a range of around 250 km on a single charge. On the 48 volts 30 Ah lithium-ion version, the charging time is between 4-5 hours, while the VRLA lead-acid version has a charging time of 8-10 hours.
