Oil India Limited is going to conduct the OIL Operator HMV Grade VII Exam in 2020. The selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of Objective Type Written Test and Viva Voce Test. Here we have provided the OIL Operator HMV Grade VII Syllabus & Exam Pattern.

OIL Operator HMV Exam Pattern –
Oil India Limited Operator recruitment written exam consist of
(A) English Language & General Knowledge/ Awareness with some questions on Oil India Limited – 20 % marks
(B) Reasoning, Arithmetic/ Numerical & Mental Ability – 20% marks
(C) Domain or Relevant Technical Knowledge – 60% marks
The questions in the written test will be in the pattern/ format of multiple choice objective for a total of 100 marks.
There will be no negative marking in the written test.
The written test will be bilingual i.e. English & Assamese
The total duration of written test will be two hours
The pass marks to qualify in the written test is minimum 50% marks.

Part B – Reasoning and Arithmetical problems like, Percentage, Ratio, Average, Similirity, Number & Alphabetical series.
Part C- Control of Traffic, Insurance of Motor Vehicles, Offence, Penalties and Procedure, Mandatory sings, duties of driver, fuel efficiency and fuel economy, basic maintenance of the vehicle, servicing, emergency handling techniques, tools and documents required with the vehicle, tpes of vehicles, traffic rules and regulations, ability to recognize traffic signals, hand signals and road markings, simple queries about the assemblies of vehicle systems etc.
