Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released a notification for the recruitment of Deputy Manager (Human Resources) for total vacant 48 vacancies. You may apply on or before May 29, 2023. The NPCIL is a public sector undertaking that operates nuclear power plants in India and falls under the purview of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) as a government undertaking.

Exam Pattern of Deputy Manager (HR) NPCIL 2023 exam

The recruitment of Deputy Managers (HR) NPCIL will be conducted in two stages. Stage I is an Online written exam and Stage II is Interview. Both these stages are discussed next.

Stage I: Written/Online Test

Time allotted for test: 120 Minutes

Number of Questions: 120

These 120 questions are divided into 2 parts. Part I will have 50 Questions (Management Aptitude) and Part II will have 70 Questions (Professional Discipline).

The syllabus of Part I (Management Aptitude) includes Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Ethics in Public Service, RTI Act, English Language, Data Interpretation & General Awareness.

The syllabus of Part II (Professional Discipline) will includes HR, OB, Labour laws, IR and Labour Welfare. The detailed syllabus is discussed below.

There will be 1 mark for each correct answer and deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer (one-fourth negative marking). Thus there are 120 marks for written exam.

Cut off Marks for written test: Unreserved candidates- 40% ,  Reserved candidates– 30%.

Stage II: Personality Interview

The number of candidates, who will be called for an interview will be 4 times the number of vacancies. There 48 X 4 = 192 candidates will be selected from the written exam for Deputy Manager (HR).

Marks for Personal Interview will be 100. The cut-off marks for interview will be 60% for Unreserved candidates and 50% for Reserved candidates.

Weightage for written/online and interview marks will be 50:50 (equal weightage).
