North East Institute of Science & Technology Jorhat Technician Recruitment Notification 2020-21 Details – CSIR-North East Intitute of Science and Technology, Jorhat, a premier institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India. The Institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipments, lab and pilot facilities to carry out research activities in frontier areas of Science. Qualification – SSC with ITI Certificate in respective trades.
Experience – Two years post qualification experience in relevant field.
Selection Procedure- Through written exam.
NEIST Technician Exam Pattern – Objective type Competitive Written exam will be conducted. In this exam total 150 questions covered in following different subjects covered in 2 hours 30 minutes.
Paper I (60 Minutes) – Mental Ability Test – 50 Questions for 100 marks. (No negative marking)
Paper II ( (30 minutes) – Covered General Knowledge & English Language having 25 question of each subject (Total 50 Questions for 150 marks)- one negative mark for every wrong answer.
Paper III (60 minutes) – Concerned subject – Total 50 questions for 150 marks. one negative mark for every wrong answer.
Application Fee – Candidates are required to arrange for a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least three months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The following details must be filled up on the back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidates Name (ii) Candidates Category (iii) Post Code Applied. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women/CSIR Employee/Abroad category are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply – Eligible and interested candidates are required to fill up the application form in the prescribed format. This duly signed and filled up application accompanied by self-attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educatio qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if any applicable along with one recent passport size (self singed photograph) affixed together with Demand Draft (If applicable) should be sent in an envelope super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________(Post Code ______)” by post to the following address-
