The exam pattern for the MahaVitaran Vidyut Sahayak is mentioned in the official PDF. Here we are going to discuss the exam pattern for this examination in details for better understanding of the applicants.
There will be a single online computer based exam for a total mark of 150. The Mark obtained by the candidate out of 150 will be then multiplied by 0.6 to convert it into marks out of 90. There is also marks for candidates who have previous experience as contract workers under Maha distribution. The candidates will get minimum 2 marks for a single year of experience and maximum 10 marks for 5 years of experience. The selection will be based on the marks obtained by candidates out of 100.
There will be two sections in the online exam. First section is Professional knowledge for total marks of 110 and the second section is General aptitude for total marks of 40 making the total marks for the exam 150. In the General Aptitude section there will be questions based on threesubjects which are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Marathi Language.
In professional Knowledge section there will be a total of 50 questions for 110 marks. In reasoning there will be 40 questions for 20 marks. In Quantitative Aptitude and Marathi language there will be 20 questions for 10 marks in each subject. For every single wrong answer 1/4 marks will be deducted.
The language of the questions will be in English and Marathi. All the questions will be of multiple choice question (MCQ) type. The total time allotted for the examination is 120 minutes.
