Name of the post – Principal Scientist
No. of vacancies – 02
Qualification – Educational Qualification: A First Class Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/Medicine/Veterinary Science/Virology/ Clinical Virology/Clinical Diagnostics. PhD with specialization in areas related to Virology / Immunology/Microbiology/ Entomology.
Experience – Minimum of 7 years’ (without counting the number of years spent on Ph. D.)with proven track record in terms of quality research publications in virology related areas/Patents.
Pay Scale/ Salary – Rs. 37,400/- To Rs. 67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/-
Age Limit – Not exceeding 45 years.
Name of the post – Scientist

Qualification – A First Class Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/Medicine/Veterinary Science/Virology/ Clinical Virology/Clinical Diagnostics. PhD with specialization in areas related to Virology / Immunology/ Microbiology/ Entomology/Computational Biology.
Experience – Minimum of 2 years’experience (without counting the number of years spent on Ph.D.)with proven track record in terms of quality research publications in virology related areas/Patents.
Pay Sclae/Salary – Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-
Age Limit – Not exceeding 35 years.
Name of the post – Technical Officer
No. of vacancies – 03
Qualification – 1. Ist class Engineering Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation /Bioinformatics/ Biomedical Engineering.
2. Five years working experience in Govt. Departments / Organizations, Autonomous Body, PSU in handling and managing of instruments related to Life Sciences of which at least 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment in advanced biological research laboratories,containment laboratories or clean pharma facilities : HVAC system,Biomedical waste disposal, Decontamination of HEPA filters and validation of laboratories.
3. Knowledge of computer application is desirable.
Pay Scale/Salary – Rs. 26,500/- to Rs. 56,700/-
Age Limit – Not exceeding 40 years.
Name of the post – Technical Support
No. of vacancies – 01
Qualification – 1. Bachelor’s degree in Life Science subjects with five years’ work experience or Master’s degree in Life Science subjects with three years’ work experience
2. Good Technical skills with experience in handling PCR, Real time PCR, NGS, Animal Cell Culture, ELISA and molecular Biology Techniques/Tissue culture /Bio Informatics, Virology Techniques /Serology/handling infectious agent and field work Knowledge of Computer Applications and data management.
Name of the post – Technical Assistant
No. of vacancies – 02
Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Virology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University with three years’ work experience or Master’s degree in the above subjects.
Pay Scale/Salary – Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 45,800/-
Age Limit – Not exceeding 35 years.
