Karnataka State Police Recruitment board also recruited the Scientific Officers in Karnataka State Forensic Science Laboratory in the different discipline viz. Audio Video Forensic, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Forensic, D.N.A, Fire Arms Section, Forensic Psychology, Mobile Forensic, Narcotics, Physics, Question Document. The exam pattern is given below –
The written examination for the recruitment of Scientific Officers in F.S.L Karnataka exam details are given below –
First paper is objective (multiple choice questions) in nature with 75 marks consisting of 75 questions. Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marks. The questions will be of General Awareness, Current Affairs, Quantitative & Qualitative analysis and general basic questions about all the subjects related to Forensic Science Laboratory (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Narcotics, Photography, DNA etc.)
The second paper is objective (multiple choice questions) in nature with 75 marks consisting of 75 questions. Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking. The questions in this paper will be from the respective subject or division of Forensic Science for which candidate has applied (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Narcotics, Photography, DNA, Psychology, Computer Forensic, Mobile Forensic, Audio & Video Forensic, Question Document section, Toxicology, Fire Arms, Photography)
The duration of each paper will be 90 minutes. Candidates are requested to note the syllabus of each subject and prepare accordingly.
