Some website published the Junior Works Manager Recruitment Notice 2016 to recruit 6911 Junior Works Manager in Ordnance Factories. But, actually Junior Works Manager vacancies in Ordinance Factories filled by Union Public Service Commission.

इसके पूर्व वर्ष 2010 में संघ लोक सेवा आयोग नई दिल्ली द्वारा उनके विज्ञापन क्रमांक 52 /2010 में 68 जूनियर वर्क्स मैनेजर (मैकेनिकल) एवं 21 जूनियर वर्क्स मैनेजर (केमिकल ) की भर्ती की गई थी

But the document published by Ordnance Factory Board on the said link i.e. http://ofbindia.gov.in/download/draft_sro_jwm.pdf is the “Recruitment Rules for the post of Junior Works Manager (Technical)” not Recruitment Notice.

As per the above link – The strength of Junior Works Manager is 6911 in different disciplines viz. Mechanical (including IT, Optical, Electronics & Plastics trades), Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Metallurgical, Chemical (Including Environmental Science & Technology, Rubber & Polymers trade), Clothing, & Leather. The Pay band for Junior Works Manager is Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/-.

Qualification for JWM in Ordnance Factory –

For Mechanical/Electrical/ Civil/Chemical– Degree in Engineering/ Technology in respective field from a duly recognized university/Institution.

For  Metallurgical – Master’s Degree in Chemistry from recognized university / institution OR Degree in Engineering/Technology in respective field.

For Clothing – Master’s Degree in Chemistry from recognized university/ institution OR Degree in Engineering/Technology in respective field. OR Regular M.Sc degree in Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing or Garment Technology.

For Leather – Master’s Degree in Chemistry from recognized university/ institution OR Degree in Engineering/Technology in respective field. Age limit is up to 30 years for JWM post.
