Hindustan Petroleum Visakhapatnam Technician CBT Exam Pattern

1. The computer based test is scheduled to be held on 31st Oct 2020 for Operations Technician & Boiler Technician
2. Duration of the examination will be two hours.
3. Total Number of questions in the examinations are 100.
4. All questions of the Computer Based Test are of objective type (multiple choice questions with only one correct choice of answer). Each correct answer carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking.
5. Question paper will be in two parts and in bilingual – Hindi & English
Part I – General Aptitude Test – 50 marks
Part II – Technical/ Professional Knowledge – 50 marks
6. Syllabus is available on official website as well as on this portal.
7. Calculators are not allowed into the examination hall.
8. Extra time will be allowed for PWD candidates in the examination i.e. 20 min/hour.
9. HPCL Visakhapatnam Refinery Technician Exam Hall Tickets/ Admit Cards are available on official website from 21st Oct 2020.
10. Travel reimbursement (Second/ Sleeper Class) is applicable for SC/ST/PWD candidates only.
