Qualification – Candidates Should have BE Fire from NFSC – Nagpur, CUSAT- Cochin and IPS – Indore or UPSE -Dehradun. DIS shall be added advantage. Min 2 years of working experience in Fire Services in Industry.

Role and Responsibilities of Fire Engineer in Haldia Petrochemicals –
Shift Management/activities.
Responsible for implementing HSE vision/policy.
Responsible for carrying out preventive and protective maintenance of all Fire Fighting Appliances (Mobile, Stati and portable) as per the established procedures and systems.
Will give his full support to plant team for carrying out critical jobs (hot job, confined space entry) etc.
Investigate accident/ incident and implement recommendations.
Impart training to plant employees on HSEF’s guidelines and technique of emergency handling.
Maintain EMCR and communication systems (PA system, F&G system) in good condition.
Review Fire Protection Manual, Safety Manual, MSDS etc.
Implement and maintain work permit system, accident investigation system.
Carryout JSA and prepare SOP
Carryout HAZOP Study
Keep all emergency systesm, equipment and installation hones for use in emergency.
Handle onsite and off-site emergencies.
