GSECL Programmer Syllabus

GSECL Programmer Exam Pattern – Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited Programmer Exam paper will divided in five sections and paper will conducted for 100 marks. The subject & marks weightage are given below –

Section I – General Knowledge (10%)
Section II – General English (10%)
Section III – Gujarati Language & Grammar (10%)
Section IV – Computer Knowledge (10%)
Section V – Discipline Subject (Electrical/ Mechanical) – 60%
Web designing
PHP & ASP.NET/C#
Computer Hardware
Networking and network security and firewall
AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
Third Party APIs and Web Services i.e. Google, Facebook etc.
RDBMS like MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
Advance OOP concepts, Design Patterns, Enterprise Library and Software Engineering Bet Practices
Linux and Windows environment development
Search Engine Optimization
XHTML and/or HTML 5 coding
The Question paper will be in English language only.
The question paper for the exam shall be consisting of 100 questions and the paper shall be of 100 marks. There shall be negative marking system & 1/4th mark for each wrong answer shall be deducted to arrive at total marks scored.
