Qualification –
(i) 12th class or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board or University.
(ii) Skill test norms on Computer : English typing speed @ 35 words per minute; or Hindi typing @ 30 Words per minute (Time allowed -10 minutes) (35 words per minute in English and 30 Words per minute in Hindi correspond to 10,500 key depressions per hour/9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Age Limit – Between 18 to 27 years.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates with nationality/ citizenship for the post of Junior Engineer in the discipline Quality Assurance. Total 106 vacancies are vacant out of these 35 vacancies for Electronics/ Radar Systems Discipline. Out of 35 vacancies 18 for UR, 09 for OBC, 05 for SC and 03 for ST and 71 vacancies for Electronics discipline. Out of 71 vacancies 36 for UR, 20 for OBC, 11 for SC & 04 for ST reserved. Qualification – (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with one of the subjects at Graduate level viz. Physics, Computer Science, Electronics from a recognized university OR Diploma in Engineering or Technology in one of the discipline viz. Electronics, Electrical, Computers, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication from a recognized University or State Board or TEchnical Education
And
(ii) One year experience in production or Development or Quality Assurance in the fields of Electrical or Electronics or Computer from a recognized organisation or undertaking.
Job Requirement – Testing/ Quality Assurance of Electronics/ Electrical Equipments and Components. Preparation of test reports, test schedules, test jigs and fixtures. Analyse various defect reports and investigate the causes of defects, drafting test reports and other duties assigned by the sections/labs.
Pay Scale – Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/-
Age Limit – Between 18 to 30 years.
Job Requirement – Opeartional duty for manning and maintenance of marine aids to navigation at lighthouses.
