National Aerospace Laboratory Bangalore Technician Selection Procedure

NAL Technician selection procedure is at two stages exam.
1. The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for a Trade Test and
2. Those who qualify in the trade test will be invited for a competitive written examination.
The final merit list will be prepared and recommended by the Selection committee on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.
(a) The NAL Technician post Trade Test will be mainly in the subject area of specialization as per advertisement. The trade test will be at the level of ITI Course or as the case may be.

(b) NAL Technician Exam Pattern (Written Examination) –
A OMR based or Computer based objective type multiple choice examination will be conducted for 150 minutes in both English and Hindi except the questions of English language on SSC/10th Standard + ITI course standard. The question paper consist of 150 questions. The subject wise No. of questions and allotment of marks with time allotted is given below –
(1) Paper I ( Time Allotted – 1 Hour)- Mental Ability Test
50 questions on Mental Ability for 100 marks. There will be no negative marks in this paper
(2) Paper II (Time Allotted – 30 minutes)
This paper consist 25 questions on General Awareness for 75 marks & 25 questions on English Language for 75 marks. One negative mark for every wrong answer.
(3) Paper III (Time Allotted – 1 hour)
This paper consist 50 questions on subject concerned for 150 marks. One negative mark for every worng answer.
