मध्य प्रदेश का छिंदवाड़ा लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र भारत की चुनावी राजनीति में अपने महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है क्योंकि बीते 44 साल में एक लोकसभा उपचुनाव छोड़कर यहां कमल नाथ का ही बोलबाला रहा है। कमल नाथ छिंदवाड़ा से नौ बार लोकसभा चुनाव जीत चुके हैं। 2019 में कमलनाथ के बेटे नकुल नाथ छिंदवाड़ा से जीते हैं कमल नाथ की पत्नी अलका नाथ भी छिंदवाड़ा का प्रतिनिधित्व कर चुकी हैं। एक बार वर्ष 1997 के उपचुनाव में कमल नाथ हारे भी है । छिंदवाड़ा लोकसभा क्षेत्र में सात विधानसभा सीटें आती हैं। इनमें से तीन सीटें एसटी के लिए आरक्षित हैं। पिछले साल हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने सभी सातों सीटें जीती थीं।
