Assam PSC Engineers Recruitment Notice 2020 Details – Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the different posts under Assam Government in the Irrigation Department, Public Health Engineering Department. The details are given below –

Name of the post – Assistant Engineer (Irrigation Department)
No. of vacancies – 182
Discipline wise vacancy position –
Civil – 128
Mechanical – 38
Electrical – 16
Pay Scale – Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- + Allowances
Qualification – A candidate must possess a Degree in the respective branch of Engineering from any Institute recognized by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) or a candidate having passed Part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India). Degree obtained through distance mode of education will not be acceptable.

Pay Scale – Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/- + Allowances.
Educational Qualification – A candidate must have passed three years diploma course in the concerned engineering discipline form an Institution recognized by the Government, SCTE (State Council for Technical Education). Diploma obtained through distance mdoe of education will not be acceptable.

Pay Scale – Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- + Allowances
Qualification – A candidate must possess a Degree in the respective branch of Engineering from any Institute recognized by Govt. or a candidate must have passed (Part A & B) of AMIE (India) in concerned discipline.

Age Limit – For all the above posts, between 18 to 38 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for sC/ST,3 years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for PWD categories.
