SBI PO Eligibility Criteria-

Educational Qualification as on 30.09.2026 –

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Those who are in the Final Year/ FinalSemester of their Degree may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for Personal Interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Degree examination on or before 30.09.2026.

Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.09.2026.

Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical Graduates, Engineering Graduates, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant etc. would also be eligible.

UR / EWS – 6

UR (PwBD) / EWS (PwBD) / OBC / OBC (PwBD) – 9

SC / SC (PwBD)/ ST / ST (PwBD) – No Restriction

Candidates who have already appeared for the maximum number of permissible chances are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit as on 01.04.2026-

Probationary Officers (PO) – Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2026 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2005 and not earlier than 02.04.1996 (both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation –  As per Government Norms.
