Konkan Railway Technician Recruitment Notice 2020
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited Technician Recruitment Notification 2020 Details –
Opening Date – 28th Oct 2020
Closing Date – 27th Nov 2020
ONLINE applications for the post of Technician III/ Electrical in Electrical Department of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) are invited from following candidates –
(i) Land Loser candidates (GEN/EWS/OBC/SC/ST) i.e. those candidates whose land has been acquired for KRCL project
(ii) Other than land losers (GEN/EWS/OBC/ST/SC) who are Domicile of Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka State and having valid employment exchange card, registered with the Employment Exchange along with Konkan Railway route within the jurisdiction of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (i.e. Raigad, Sindhudurg & Ratnagiri Districts of Maharashtra, Goa State and Uttara Kannada, Udupi & Dakshina Kannada/ South Kannadas Districts of Karnataka)
(iii) Ohter than land losers (GEN/EWS/OBC/SC/ST) who are domicile of the state of Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka Stte.
Name of the post – Technician III/ Electrical
No. of vacancies – 58 (UR-32, EWS-04, OBC-02, SC-14, ST-05, Ex-SM- 06)
Pay Scale – 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 02 with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale.
Age Limit – Between 18 to 33 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-SM category candidates as per Government rules.
Qualification – Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician/ Wireman/ Mechanic H.T/LT equipment and cable jointing/ Electronics Mechanic oR Matriculation/SSLC plus CCAS in the trades mentioned above.

Selection Procedure – Through written exam
Konkan Railway Technician Exam Pattern – The questions under CBT will be in two languages i.e. Hindi and English. The candidate will have to choose any one of these languages. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to Common General Awareness which shall comprise 90% of the total questions and 10% on Technical Awareness of the relevant trade.
