Bihar Mausam Seva Kendra Society has been formed by the Planning & Development Department at the state level for the establishment and operation of Bihar Mausam Seva Kendra. For integration, analysis, interpretation, publication and weather forecasting of data received from the Automatic Weather Station and Automatic Rain Gauge, Bihar Mausam Seva Kendra Society needs the services of Scientist and other technical staffs.

Name of the post – Joint Director (Technical)
No. of vacancies – 01
Salary – Rs. 1,15,000/- per month
Qualification – MSc or MTech in Earth Science / Meteorology /Climatology / Atmospheric Science with PhD in relevant field. 10 years of working / Research Experience.

Name of the post – Senior Scientific Officer (Senior Scientist)

Salary – Rs. 1,00,000/- per month
Qualification – MSc or MTech in Geology / Geophysics with PhD in relevant field. 8-10 years of working / research experience.

Name of the post – Scientific Officer (Scientist)

Salary – Rs. 75,000/- per month.
Qualification – MSc or MTech in Meteorology / Climatology / Atmospheric Science with PhD in relevant field. 3-5 years of working / research experience.

Name of the post – Junior Scientific Officer (Junior Scientist)

Qualification – BSc or BTech in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / or Polytechnic in Computer Science / Instrumentation Science.

Qualification – BCA, Diploma in Computer Science, PGDCA, PGDCM, Certified Network Admin Professionals.

Qualification – BSc (Meteorology/Geology/Physic) or BTech in Computer Science/ Electronics with 3 year work experience.
