MHT-CET 2026 Syllabus and Marking Scheme

The State Common Entrance Examination Cell (CET Cell 1) has announced the MHT CET Examination marks to be taken for the first year admission to engineering and technology, pharmacology, agricultural courses. This exam will be based on the XI and XII study courses. As per last year, this exam will be conducted online and the mathematics paper will be 100 marks and two other subjects will be of 50 marks.
CET is conducted through CET Cell for first year admission to engineering and technology, pharmaceuticals, agricultural courses. The mathematics paper is going to be 100 marks. It will ask 10 marks based on the syllabus of the XII and 40 marks in the syllabus of the XII. Each question of this paper will be of 2 marks.
Students are given 90 minutes to complete the question paper. Physics, Chemistry are going to be 50 marks. It will also consist of 10 marks based on the syllabus of the 11th and 40 marks on the 12th syllabus.
For biology and zoology, there will be 50 marks paper. There is going to be a similar pattern of 10:40 A notification has been given on the website about how to qualify for the exam for April this year. Candidate should note that if he/she appearing for both the the groups i.e. PCM and PCB, the Percentile score of Physics or Chemistry will be interchanged among the groups.
