Senior Quality Assurance Establishment Recruitment Notice 2017
DGQA Ichapur Nawabganj 24 Paraganas Recruitment Notification 2017 – Applications are invited by Department of Defence Production, Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Small Arms) 24 Parganas North West Bengal from Indian nationals for filling up the post of Stenographer. Those fulfilling the following qualitative requirements may apply as per prescribed proforma on plan paper duly typed or neatly hand written. The application format is available in Employment News. The details are as under –
Name of the post – Stenographer
No. of vacancies – 01 post
Pay Scale – Pay Matrix Level-4, Minimum Pay Rs. 25,500/- as per 7th CPC plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees from time to time.
Qualification – (i) H.Sc or 12th Standard passed (ii) Skill Test norms only on computer (iii) Dictation – 10 minutes @ 80 wpm (iv) Transcription – 50 minutes for English or 65 minutes for Hindi
Age Limit – Between 18 to 27 years. (Relaxable for Departmental candidates upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.)
Selection Process in DGQA –
(i) Written Examination – The examination will consist of objective type question on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, English language & Mathematics.
(ii) Stenography Test – The candidates shortlisted based on written examination will be required to undergo the Stenography test. They will given dictation for 10 minutes at the speed of 80 wpm. The text will have to be transcribed by the candidates on computer only within 50 minutes in English/ 65 minutes in Hindi.
Application Form – (i) The candidates may apply for the post of typed neatly on plain paper or neatly handwritten as per format shown in the advertisement published in Employment News.
(ii) Self attested photocopies of all certificates in support of Educational Qualification, age, caste, proficiency in shorthand & typing etc. will be enclosed with the application.
(iii) Three numbers of photographs (size 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) are required i.e. one copy of passport size photo to be affixed on the top right side of the application form and one photo each to be affixed on both the Admit Cards. Photo on application form & admit cards should be signed by the candidate is such a way that part sign are on paper & part on photograph.
