Name of the post- Assistant Engineer
No. of vacancies- 50 posts (Civil-29, Electrical-10, Architect-4, Structural-4, Electrical/Mechanical-MEP – 03 )
Eligibility Criteria for ASSISTANT ENGINEER jobs in LIC-
Qualification-
A. For ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Civil): B.Tech/B.E (Civil) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution. Candidates should have a minimum three years working experience in planning and execution of multi storied building projects with all required infrastructure.
B. For ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Electrical): B.Tech/B.E (Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution. Candidates should have a minimum three years working experience in planning and execution of multi storied building projects with all required infrastructure.
C. For ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Architect): B. Arch. From a recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have registered with Council of Architecture and possess a minimum of three years experience in designing of all types of buildings with applied services. Candidate should also be well versed with green building design requirements and application of AutoCAD software and /or similar type software.

D For ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Structural): M.Tech/ M.E (Structural) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should be well versed with structural design of high rise building with the foundation system. He/She should be familiar with various standards of BIS pertaining to structural design and Foundation design and must be experienced in handling of structural engineering software like ETABS, STAAD etc. Candidates applying for the post must possess minimum one year hands on experience in the area.

E For ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MEP):B.Tech/ B.E (Mechanical/Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution. Candidate should have a minimum three years experience in planning and execution of Plumbing/ Piping/ HVAC system, Lift & Fire Fighting system, Electrical Sub-station in multi storied buildings.

Age Limit- Minimum age shall be 21 years and Maximum age shall not be more than 30 years as on 01.02.2020.
Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC etc category  are as given below-
By 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD (Gen), 15 years for PWD(SC/ST), 13 years for PWD(OBC), further 5 years for confirmed LIC employees etc.
Pay Scale of ASSISTANT ENGINEER LIC- Rs.32,795/- to Rs. 62,315/- + Allowances.
Salary- Gross Salary Rs. 57,00/- per month
Application Fee- Rs. 700/- for unreserved and OBC and Rs.85/- for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
