Pay Scale – Pay Level 7 with Basic Rs. 59,500/- + Allowances

Age Limit – Between 21 to 40 years

Qualification for Assistant Engineer post in UPPCL –

(1) Candidates should have sufficient knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Lipi.

(2) Electrical Engineering Category: A degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or a mixed discipline (4TH)degree combined with Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering.

(3) Electronics and Tele-communication Engineering Category: A degree in Electronics Engineering or Communication Engineering or Tele-communication Engineering or Mixed Discipline (VH) degree combined with either Electronics Engineering or Communication Engineering or Tele-communication Engineering.

(4) Computer Science Engineering Category: A degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology or a mixed discipline (VH) degree combined with either Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology.

UPPCL Assistant Engineer Selection Procedure –

Selection Process will be based on Computer Based Test and Personal Interview. Computer Based Test(CBT) will be held at major cities of Uttar Pradesh .i.e. Allahabad, Aligarh, Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Jhansi, Muzaffarnagar, Greater Noida cities etc.. Electricity Service Commission; however has the right to cancel any of the Examination City/ Center and/or add some other cities/centers depending upon the nos. of candidates, administrative feasibility, or any force-majeure conditions etc.

UPPCL Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern 2022 –
