PGVCL Junior Programmer Syllabus

PGVCL Junior Programmer Exam Pattern – Paschim Gujarat VIJ Co. Ltd Vidyut Sahayak i.e. Junior Programmer Exam paper will divided in four sections and paper will conducted for 100 marks. The subject & marks weightage are given below –

Section I – General Knowledge (10%)
Section II – General English (10%)
Section III – Gujarati Language & Grammar (10%)
Section IV – Discipline Subject (Electrical/ Mechanical) – 70%

Computer Fundamentals & Hardware, Troubleshooting, Operating System (Windows, Overview of Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Linux/ Unix, MS-Office-Reatures, Macros, Formulas.
Networking and Communication (Basics, LAN/WAN Devices, DNS, DHCP, Protocols, Internet, Intranet, Emails)
Web Servers (Apache, IIS)
RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL,MsSQL)
Programming [C/C++, PL/SQL, PHP< AS.net, Python (Concept, Logic, OOPs, Syntax checking etc).

The Question paper will be in English language only.
The question paper for the exam shall be consisting of 100 questions and the paper shall be of 100 marks. There shall be negative marking system & 1/4th mark for each wrong answer shall be deducted to arrive at total marks scored.
