Central Electrochemical Research Institute Technical Assistant Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Syllabus and Pattern of Online Examination for the post of Technical Assistant in CECRI – There will be 3 papers. The second and third paper will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks in the first paper.
Mode of Examination – OMR Based or Computer Based Objective type multiple choice examinations.
Medium of Questions – Both in English and Hindi except the questions on English Language.
Standard of Exam – Diploma
Total no. of questions – 200
Total Time Allotted – 3 hours

Paper I ( Time Allotted – 1 hour)
Subject – Mental Ability Test
No. of questions – 50
Maximum marks – 100
Negative Marks – There will be no negative marks in this paper.
Mental Ability Test will be so devised so as to include General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Situational Judgement etc.

Paper II (Time Allotted – 30 minutes)
Subject – General Awareness and English Language
No. of questions – 25 + 25
Maximum marks – 75 + 75
Negative Marks – One negative mark for every wrong answer.

Paper III (Time Allotted – 90 Minutes)
Subject – Concerned Subject
No. of questions – 100
Maximum marks – 300
Negative Marks – One negative mark for every wrong answer.
